There will be Blood

I don't know if you have seen the movie "There will be blood" or not, but it's a kind of weird story about a cruel oil man and a church. To me there is a great deal of symbolism between power and the church, but I won't get off on that tangent. There is a scene in this movie where the oil man explains why he didn't buy this one family's land because he didn't need to buy it, all the oil that was under their land could be sucked up without owning the land. Well, China is drilling off the coast of Florida now, our own oil companies can't. At a time of economic hardship our elected representatives couldn't care less about the plight of Americans who are suffering financially and they don't care if communists are essentially stealing the resources right out from underneath our land.
