Fear the driving force of Tyranny

This is an excellent article concerning the current Energy problems in the USA....

Fear is the political driving force of tyranny. Today, the hottest topic of fear – based on which our government is on the verge of levying vast new taxes and regulations – is the fear of human-caused global warming. Never mind that this hypothesis is false.

No less than 31,000 American physical scientists, including 9,000 Ph.D.s, have petitioned the government not to do this at PetitionProject.org. These scientists have declared the hypothesis false and have pointed out that atmospheric carbon dioxide is required for all life on Earth and that the modest increases of recent years have fertilized plant growth and actually much enhanced our natural environment.

Does the Palo Verde example mean Americans should solve their energy problem solely by building nuclear power plants? Do we need a vast government program to subsidize nuclear energy? Absolutely not! Americans need the freedom to decide, in the free competitive market with no tax-subsidies and no government impediments, the mixture of energy they require.

With current technology, that mixture would include largely hydrocarbon and nuclear energy, with small amounts from other technologies. No one knows the future. As science and technology advance, free market decisions will change. READ IT ALL HERE

The Man whom God used to make the West Great

William Tyndale was the Captain of the Army of Reformers, and was their spiritual leader. Tyndale holds the distinction of being the first man to ever print the New Testament in the English language. Tyndale was a true scholar and a genius, so fluent in eight languages that it was said one would think any one of them to be his native tongue. He is frequently referred to as the “Architect of the English Language”, (even more so than William Shakespeare) as so many of the phrases Tyndale coined are still in our language today.

William Tyndale (1494-1536) Biblical translator and martyr; born most probably at North Nibley (15 miles south-west of Gloucester), England, in 1494; died at Vilvoorden (6 miles north-east of Brussels), Belgium, Oct. 6, 1536. Tyndale was descended from an ancient Northumbrian family, went to school at Oxford, and afterward to Magdalen Hall and Cambridge.

William Tyndale Overview

Tyndale was a theologian and scholar who translated the Bible into an early form of Modern English. He was the first person to take advantage of Gutenberg’s movable-type press for the purpose of printing the scriptures in the English language. Besides translating the Bible, Tyndale also held and published views which were considered heretical, first by the Catholic Church, and later by the Church of England which was established by Henry VIII. His Bible translation also included notes and commentary promoting these views. Tyndale's translation was banned by the authorities, and Tyndale himself was burned at the stake in 1536, at the instigation of agents of Henry VIII and the Anglican Church. READ IT ALL HERE

Denver: Dead Muslim with large container of Cyanide

Gotta wonder how many more of these are in hotels throughout American Cities?....

It has the makings of international intrigue. Less than two weeks before the Democratic National Convention a man has been found dead in a Denver hotel room with a container of what authorities initially suspect to be the deadly poison cyanide.

Adding to the intrigue is that the dead man, Saleman Abdirahman Dirie, 29, appears to be from outside the U.S. No passport was found on Dirie, who is believed to have entered the country from Canada.

A large container of a white powdery substance was found in the man's room on the fourth floor of The Burnsley hotel at 10th and Grant.

Tests are now being done by the Denver Police Crime Lab to determine exactly what the substance is. The tests could take days. READ IT ALL HERE

For President : Alan Keyes

I would vote for Alan Keyes for President. I think he would make a great President. In this rather lengthily article he writes about a number of things including (initially) the corruption of the nation. He is however a lot more optimistic than I am on the state of corruption in the US than I am. Many of these men in power have appointed men who will never expose the corruption, nor will they prosecute many of the guilty (unless it's politically motivated), or perhaps rather the investigators will conveniently bumble the investigation(s). There's all sorts of ways to make sure corruption continues or goes un-prosecuted. I should be careful with this post, you never know when some Senator might decide he is annoyed with this post and I get arrested for the felony of blogging "anonymously" and "annoying a Senator". (If you didn't know it, blogging anonymously that annoys a Senator is a felony, this is the America we live in now). Anyway... this is a really good article by Alan Keyes... READ IT HERE.
